Money management

Budgeting and money management that lasts

Money worries follow people to work. Our money management sessions give staff a monthly plan they can use the same day: what comes in, what must go out, what to save and which debts to clear first. We cover building an emergency fund, paying down expensive credit and the tax credits people forget to claim.

Sessions use Irish figures and examples, not theory. Nobody is asked about their own finances in the room, and anyone who wants to talk privately can book a one-to-one session afterwards.

  • A monthly plan staff can use the same day
  • Emergency funds and clearing high-interest debt
  • Tax credits and reliefs people miss
Pensions and tax relief

Pensions, explained in one hour

Most staff do not know what their pension will pay or what tax relief is worth to them. We explain it in euro: relief at 20% or 40%, the age limits of 15% to 40% of earnings, what the employer puts in, and what auto-enrolment means for anyone with no pension at work.

For staff in their fifties and sixties, a pre-retirement session covers the retirement lump sum, where the first €200,000 is tax free, the choice between an ARF and an annuity, and how the State pension fits in.

  • How tax relief works, with worked examples
  • Auto-enrolment explained: who is in and who pays what
  • AVCs and old pensions from previous jobs
  • Pre-retirement: the lump sum, ARF or annuity
For the employer

What the business gets from it

Staff who understand their benefits value them. A pension briefing turns an employer contribution into money people can see growing in their own name. A budgeting session gives someone a plan for the month. A pre-retirement session lets a long-serving employee leave with a plan rather than a worry.

For HR, it means fewer money questions on your desk and a benefit that comes up in hiring and retention conversations. Sessions can be timed around Budget day, a scheme launch or annual pension statements, when the questions are freshest.

  • Benefits staff understand and use
  • Fewer pension and tax questions for HR
  • Sessions timed to Budget day, launches or statements
  • Private one-to-one follow-up for anyone who asks

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers with the figures. If yours is not here, a senior advisor answers it in your review.

What topics can you cover?

Money management and budgeting, pensions and tax relief, auto-enrolment, mortgages, protection, saving and investing, and retirement. We shape each session around your benefits so staff hear about what they have.

How long is a session?

Most run 45 to 60 minutes including questions. Pre-retirement sessions can run longer.

Do you sell products in the sessions?

No. Workshops are education. Nobody is asked about their own finances in the room, and anyone who wants personal advice books a private one-to-one.

Can you deliver online?

Yes. We run live webinars for remote, hybrid and shift staff, and can mix webinars with on-site sessions.

Who delivers the sessions?

Qualified advisors from True Wealth, a trading name of True Financial Ltd, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Can we run a series across the year?

Yes. Sessions work well timed around Budget day, a pension scheme launch or annual statements, when staff have the most questions.

How many staff can attend?

There is no minimum. On-site sessions suit a team in one room, and a live webinar can take staff from several sites at once. We suggest the format once we know your numbers and locations.
